MASTER CURATOR - ROBERTO KNIBEL!!!

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF DESIGNER ROBERTO KNIBEL!!!   I recently had the distinct pleasure of spending a "Full Day" with Designer/Curator, Roberto Knibel!!!   I spent hours engrossed  in the sumptuous collections housed in his beautiful Loft; located in a private & luxurious building,  of the SoFi neighborhood.    I was first introduced to the designers work in 2008, while viewing an installation at The Sagamore Hotel.  It was "The Face"...  The Face exist in two formats; Gorgeous Wall Mounted Pieces or The Face Chairs!!!  Roberto showcases a unique furniture perspective, which infuses vintage pieces with a hip, sophisticated and contemporary flare!!!   These are Iconic pieces of art that combines timeless elegance with style.

My absolute New Obsession is "The Dogs"...   The Wooden Dogs Collection comes from the rural landscape of Brazil.  These magnificent wooden dogs are a reflection of country life. They are replicas of local dogs found anywhere - roaming free, seeking food and shelter where they can; without virtue of pedigree or the luxury of an occasional bath.  The carvings are "typical found" wood, hand-limed and stained to give an aged & weathered appearance.  No two dogs are the same.
